Bodog.com has announced its securing of television star and noted celebrity poker player, Brad Garrett, to be the Master of Ceremonies at Card Player Magazine's ‘Player of the Year’ Awards Gala. The show will take place February 15 at the Music Box Theatre in Hollywood, prior to the World Poker Tour's LA Classic.
Bodog.com Founder and CEO Calvin Ayre, said, ‘We are thrilled to have a household name like Brad Garrett MC the Card Player ‘Player of the Year’ Awards. With Brad and the other top poker names and celebrities expected to attend, this event will be an exciting addition to the Hollywood awards season.’
An Emmy Award winner, Garrett is also keen poker player. At the 2005 World Series of Poker, Garrett rebounded from his average performance in the main event – where he lasted only nine hours – to make the final table in the concurrent celebrity and NBA player charity tournament at The Mirage.
