Coral Eurobet, the European sportsbook and gaming operator, announced on 23 November it was joining the Ongame poker network.
Further to PartyGaming announcing its poker software platform switch in early October, Coral Eurobet had subsequently said it would leave the PartyGaming network and would be looking to join a new one.
Its two poker sites, UK-focused Coralpoker.com and Europe-focused Eurobetpoker.com, will run on Ongame’s software and share their customer base with over a dozen affiliate members from the Ongame network.
Mats Johnson, head of online operations at Coral Eurobet, said: “We chose to move to Ongame because we feel its network benefits both our customers and Coral Eurobet as a company. The move to Ongame powerfully boosts our future growth prospects, and provides our customers with a much better all-round playing experience.”
Coral Eurobet’s poker customers will be joining Ongame’s six million registered members and Patrik Selin, chief executive of Ongame, said Coral Eurobet’s decision his company’s network, which operates PokerRoom, proved its “technology is significantly more advanced and more user-friendly than our competitors’ and the size of our customer base means we can offer the best tournaments. We look forward to a long working relationship with Coral Eurobet”.
