Cafes in UAE fined for gambling machines on their premises

Seven cafes in Ras Al Khaimah have been heavily fined by the Economic Department for placing gambling machines on their premises, reported Gulf News. The cafes would have been shut down if proof had been found that the machines had been used for gambling; 20 other shops have been fined for displaying their products on the pavement in front of their properties.
