Ben Brown is a young gymnast hoping to make it to the Olympics in London in 2012. His quest has just been made that little bit easier with the news that King Solomons Poker will fund his training.
Brown was featured in the official campaign artwork for the London bid where he was seen vaulting the Gherkin building, but his dreams of making the Games were in tatters after funding for his training was cut.
After a plea for help in a radio interview, the reply came from King Solomons Poker who has stepped forward to funding Ben to enter back into full-time training and stride onwards to the next Olympic Games in Beijing. They have also provided a performance related bonus structure as an added incentive.
Head of Group Marketing for King Solomons, Keren Fuchs said, 'I read about Ben’s story in the media and I then started making phone calls to see if I could get to him. We invited him over to our offices and spoke about him and his ambitions. I never really doubted that we were going to sponsor him. He is a fantastic young man and we’re delighted to help him achieve his dreams.”
