Gaming Corporation, the publicly listed portal owner, has revamped its poker and casino software as it continues to build up its proprietary gaming operations.
The firm has signed deals with poker software firm PokerNetwork and casino software firm Virtue Fusion to develop cross-platform solutions for its casino and poker sites.
Gaming Corporation launched a real-money mobile casino earlier this year through Virtue Fusion, but its online offering continues to be hosted by Boss Media.
Justin Drummond, chief executive of Gaming Corporation, said the move to a non-download casino was a natural progression after 18 months of joint development work.
“We felt their multi-platform casino software and competitive cost structure were the ideal solution to our casino software requirements going forward,” Drummond said.
“With our new software we are aiming to substantially improve margins and grow the profitability of our proprietary casino operations.”
Gaming Corp plans to market the new casino across its network of sites, including Casino.co.uk, Gambling.com and Got2bet.com.
The firm has also signed a deal to license online and mobile poker software from PokerNetwork, with the new service expected to launch in September.
Drummond said it was a significant development for the firm.
“Multiplayer mobile poker will be extremely attractive to our existing and any potential European mobile network operators,” he said.
