The findings of an inquiry into whether the online betting exchange Betfair has been illegally used in Tasmania will not be released for another week.
The inquiry was sparked by allegations in state Parliament that a bookmaker illegally used Betfair at a pacing meet at the Glenorchy showgrounds last month.
The report was due to have been released today but the Greens' racing spokesman Kim Booth is still giving evidence.
Tony Murray from Racing Services Tasmania says they will look at expanding the investigation to see if Betfair has been used at other race tracks, after hearings are complete today.
"This is just about gathering evidence at this stage and then I'll decide which way to go with the inquiry after I gather all the evidence," he said.
